St Boniface Preschool

 

STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY 

 

St. Boniface Preschool is a Christ – centered, state licensed childcare center/preschool offering enrichment, socialization and learning skills to 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and 5-year-old children, as well as summer care for school age children grades K through 4.  A joyful, loving and Christian environment is provided where each individual can be themselves and become their own person.  This is all done through the guidance and acceptance of a kind, caring staff. 

Our goal is for students to develop a love of learning. State standards are utilized within our programs as a guide to promote independence and a well-rounded academic experience. St. Boniface Preschool offers development in social, academic, fine and gross motor skills. Students are also provided the opportunity to explore faith and religion.  It is a wonderful journey for us to be a part of your child’s early learning years and we thank you for entrusting your child into our care. 

St. Boniface Preschool also offers an enriching Before/After Care program for preschool students (ages 3-5) and elementary students (grades K-4) who require care outside of regular school hours.

*PLEASE NOTE: Registration for School Age before care programs is CLOSED for the 2024/2025 school year. Please contact the preschool director if you would like to be placed on the school age before care program waitlist. Our Programs
All St. Boniface programs strive to promote independence and a well-rounded academic experience. Students of all ages attend church and practice prayer. 

 
Preschool 3 
Children MUST be age 3 by August 31 to enroll in this program. There is one classroom dedicated to this age group. In preschool 3, children develop language art/pre-reading skills, begin to study letters and numbers, and continue to gain independence through hands on learning.

Pre K
Children must be age 4 by August 31 to enroll in this program. There are two classrooms dedicated to this age group. In preschool 4 (Pre-K), students develop higher functioning academic skills and gain experience through hands on and traditional settings to prepare children for kindergarten.

Before and After School Care
The Before and After Care Program for students attending our Preschool and Wattsburg Area District students (K-4). After school homework time is provided for school age students. WASD provides bus transportation to and from St. Boniface each day school is in session. 

 
Summer Program
St. Boniface offers a 6-week summer program for preschool aged children and a 5-week summer program for school aged (grades k-4) children. This program runs June through mid-July. St. Boniface does not have access to transportation, but the staff find creative and fun ways to keep students busy, challenged, and safe all while having summer fun within our facility. 
 
*St. Boniface policy requires ALL Children to be toilet trained and bathroom independent prior to the start of any program.
